CancerCompass message board discussion started by tbstorm on 1/4/2008 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,19392,0.htm Sat, 06 Sep 2008 00:00:00 GMT Sat, 06 Sep 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ I started Carac 3 days ago, at first I was not ready to do this.  But I thought better of it.  I started reading all the messages and glad I did, I have begun some side effects, my bottom lip and my tongue seems to be tingling.  I am afraid but get encouragment from all of your messages.  I keep looking for red but nothing so far but I believe I will be like most of you with the effectrs I have read about.  We can send a man to the moon but cant come up with something better, but I thank God that we do have this at the same time.  I just want this to get over with sometimes the anticipation is tuff.  But I am going to stand strong as many of you have and will count the days as they go bye.  I am on 21 days once a day 5%.  I am going out tomorrow to buy sunblock and vaseline. Thanks for all of the tips and I am hanging in there as you all are and about ready to cry and I am not bad yet.  I was planning on starting a journal but think I will come on here and just talk about it. Best of luck to all who are going through this and hope we all have beautiful young skin again :-) Patti tbstorm Fri, 04 Jan 2008 00:00:00 GMT Hang tough. I am done and everyone  says that my skin looks great. Even though they only see me with makeup, because I still have pale blotches. I found that the Aquaphor (same as vaseline) made me sting terribly for about 20 min. and then it was soothing. Everyone is different.
