My Dad was diagnosed in March of this year and has since had 1 round of chemo and a stent fitted. He got a blockage two weeks ago and they have since fitted a second stent, but his voice is now really husky. Has anyone else come across this?? Apart from that he is doing quite well and we have crossed everything that it stays that way, (he was given 6 months and he is still here!) his radiation starts in three weeks.Any advice please!Ange(A Heartbroken daughter)

I am wondering if you would mind sharing how this was all discovered in your Dad. My Dad was diagnosed a little late and he had stomach problems first, which he thought were ulcers. They couldn't see much at first in the x-rays. It took so long that by the time he was diagnosed, he was inoperable, and remember that was over 12 years ago. Deb

The trouble is I am in Australia while dad is in the UK, so this website is pretty much my only outlet.Hope you are doing ok.Ange
