I am wondering if you would mind sharing how this was all discovered in your Dad. My Dad was  diagnosed a little late and he had stomach problems first, which he thought were ulcers. They couldn't see much at first in the x-rays. It took so long that by the time he was diagnosed, he was inoperable, and remember that was over 12 years ago.  Deb Hi Deb, My Dad started having trouble swallowing in Sept 2006 and we found out he had terminal cancer in March 2007, the time delay was due to the NHS system in the UK (Appointments not being made etc).
