Experience With Topetecan

I had a hysterectomy in February where a stage 1C tumor was found and removed. Because it was partly attached to the peritoneal cavity my oncologist wants to give me Taxol & Carboplatin as an adjuvant therapy. Now that I know that those and other platinum drugs can permeate the blood brain barrier and cause/allow brain cancer, I'm against this reginmen and have sent him a letter to that effect. The Topetecan seems like it might be a better bet than Doxil (because of the hand and foot itching) or the Taxol-Carboplatin. Does anyone have recent experience with short or long term side-effects from Topetecan?
