Update for Terryjoe

I havent posted an update in quite sometime so I decided to now we are in the new year.Diagnosed in May 06. My left kidney/adrenal gland removed in June 06. Spent 2 1/2 months in the hospital and 3 different surgeries suffering from peratenitus and inflamation below my stomach that caused my digestion not to work. Had a colostomy and took food through infusions until Sep 06. Light duty at work until 01/07 and then no restrictions. I am presently halfway through my eleventh cycle on Sutent 50mg 28 days on 14 days off. The tumors I have left have shrunk up until recently when they have stabilized not growing or shrinking any further. The largest in my right adrenal gland went from 5 3/4 cm down to 1 1/2 cm. The others have either disappeared or shrunk to measurements in the single mm measurements. Never know what side effects I will have or to what extent. Most of the time I have been able to deal with them. My feet becoming inflamed have been the worse. Glad it usually only last 3-4 days before subsiding. My oncologist ordered a CAT and a MUGA Scan before Christmas both came back positive. Dr said if the MUGA scan came back with negative results he would take me off the Sutent and start a medicine that is given via an IV once a week. I dont remember the name of it.
