17 with cervical precancer

well, yes i'm young, and i found out this afternoon the results of my clonoscopy that came back with severely abnormal cells that my doc deemed precancerous, not matching my "slightly abnormal" pap smear from dec07. i've had two partners, ever, and frankly my mega-religious asian parents are extremely unhappy and are going to postpone treatment until i turn eighteen in about three months. unfortunately, i'm afraid of waiting but do not know any other options. my family is already on social services' radar for history of physical/emotional abuse and i can file medical neglect, however, my father said the court process will take more time than it does for me to turn eighteen (in about three months) where i will have to pay for it myself on top of finding money to go to college (i have already been accepted to unc chapel hill). i don't know where to turn. i am still in high school, and the people surrounding me are not in a mature state of mind for me to be open with about my condition, especially because i am HPV positive. the doctor recommend me get a LEEP operation done, but he does not even know how far the cells have penetrated. i have only been sexually active for nine months, and am not even anymore because the man who gave it to me cheated on me and left me in the midst of all this going on. wonderful! i would love to know about any support groups in the local raleigh/cary area.

Have you been to a planned parenthood? I would start there.

Definitely speak to either Planned Parenthood or your doctor. They may be able to help you with options. I'm horrified your parents are willing to endanger your life.
