can anyone help me

my mom was diganosed with endometreosis about a year and a half ago. she had to have all of her female organs removed , and they removed some lymph nodes from her spine to be tested. she did not have to have cemo, she has had to follow up with the doctors every couple of months. the doctors still perscribe pain meds.and run test. The doctors are now running test because they think she may have cancer in her bones. my mom hides alot about this sickness from me. she says shes not going to except treatment if she does have it. and shes not sure she will tell me the results. does anyone know what the life exspectancy of bone cancer without treatment is? what can i do to help my mom through this?she wont share information about her sickness with me, but i dont want to be clueless. will someone please help me with what to exspect.

I was just replying to a friend not on this site and came across this articlehttp://www.cancercompass.com/bone-cancer-information.htm It sounds like your mothers bone cancer is a secondary type due to her previous problems and she probably had uterine cancer. Bone cancer is very painful . Help her do what she wants to do but go ahead and google all you can about secondary bone cancer. When you have information sit down and talk with her. Say"Mom I know you want to save me but if you let me just talk with you it helps me too"This is a tough one and I will pray for you...MMSOn 1/11/2008 onlychild26 wrote:my mom was diganosed with endometreosis about a year and a half ago. she had to have all of her female organs removed , and they removed some lymph nodes from her spine to be tested. she did not have to have cemo, she has had to follow up with the doctors every couple of months. the doctors still perscribe pain meds.and run test.
my father had bladder cancer that has spread to his bones. This is a very painful cancer. He has had several fractures in the last 2 years. My father was a very heavy smoker. I don't know if the cancer is sreading so fast because of that.Be aware of any complaints of pain from her.Radiation works best to shrink the tumors chemo not as well.It is the hardest thing to watch someone you love hurt so bad. Unfortunatley there is no cure for secondary bone cancer.Maybe eating right and taking supplements help look into holistic t reatments. they say your blood should not be acidic cancer loves that type of enviroment. Take care of your mom and go bless.
