My Mom (75) is Dying I Think. I Need Your Help.

Here in india, information on this sort of topic is really not available and our doctors are'nt being very forthright.
My mother was detected with ovarian cancer almost 2 years ago, underwent surgery, but they could not remove part of the tumor since it was sticking to the abdomen/rectum.

She has been through 14/15 chemo sessions (taxol+carbo) - generally 1 every 6 weeks till december 04, and since then has been on oral medication for 2 cycles.

For the last 5 weeks however her health has really deteriorated - she had no bowel control and lost significant weight. She now has a protruding stomach and her left leg is swollen all the way till the thigh.

For the last 5 days she has been refusing food (we have her on a drip) and hasnt gotten out of bed, and is basically not even talking. It's almost like she is waiting to die.

Can someone help me? What should I expect next? At a stage like this, how long before she finally dies and finds peace? Can I do ANYTHING to make things better for her?

Please respond. I shall be greatful for your help and advice. And do pray for her to find heaven soon please.

Ovarian Cancer

I am so sorry to hear of your mothers' plight. I too have ovarian cancer (for 6 years). Please pray that your mother will accept Jesus into her heart.....He is a healer & can do so for your mother....but understand, the healing may come in the form of calling her to His side. Remember, that you will be able to be reunited in heaven with your loving mother if you both ask the Lord into your heart. He will give you a peace that passes any understanding you now have & give you a place of comfort to rest.
