Hi,I was diagnosed with PEComa in May 2006 and I'm still around. I was initially diagnosed with Uterine Leiomyosarcoma after a hysterectomy to remove a large fibroid. How can I help?

Hi,When I was first diagnosed there wasn't much in the way of printed material so over the past two years I've collected several of the articles. I live in California and I've seen two of the most prominent sarcoma doctors on the West Coast. My primary site required a hysterectomy but from what I've read, this type of sarcoma can occur anywhere. My pathoogy report indicated that I had two of the three worrisome elements in staging my tumor. Because of this my doctors decided to follow my radiation treatment with chemotherapy, It wasn's as scary as I thought it was going to be. I have a wonderful support structure both at home and at work. What type of info are you looking for?
