CancerCompass message board discussion started by Parnak on 1/17/2008 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,19808,0.htm Wed, 23 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT Wed, 23 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ Hi,I am new to this site and this is our story.My father had coughs having sometimes a bit blood  in it since March 07 .After following up with the tests he was  diagnosed for NSCLC Aderocarcinoma Stage 3B in September 07 .He went through 4 Chemotherapy with Taxol+Carboplatine His oncologist suggestion was to start Tarceva. he started taking Tarceva  10 days ago. there is no rash for him.does anybody have experience with  Tarceva working for him/her without having rash???  Parnak Thu, 17 Jan 2008 00:00:00 GMT MY mother did not get the rash, and Tarceva did not work for her.  However, I have read of several cases on this message board of people who did not get the rash and did have success.  One was still going strong after more than two years.  Don't lose hope and good luck to you.
