CancerCompass message board discussion started by ASouthernbell on 1/17/2008 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,19828,0.htm Wed, 20 Aug 2008 00:00:00 GMT Wed, 20 Aug 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ I am 57 and was diagnosed with intraductal carsanoma in July 2006.  It was caught very early and I had a lumpectomy, went thru 8 rounds of chemo 13 rounds of herceptin (for HER2 Positive) and 33 rounds of radiation.  I came through all that remarkably well, by the way..Praise God!  I am now on Arimidex for the next few years.  I have bad bone pains on some days and on others I feel back to my normal old self.  My biggest beef is the weight gain.  My Doc tells me I need to lose but hard as I try,  I have only dropped 2 LBS in the last 6 weeks.  I try to walk but my feet hurt and my body hurts.  I feel like I am fighting a losing battle.  Does anyone know of a plan that helps people like me and others?  I would appreciate any infoMay God Bless ASouthernbell Thu, 17 Jan 2008 00:00:00 GMT
