Hello Pat,When it comes to sleep, that dex is a @#$%!!! I took 1-2 mg Ativan at bedtime. It did help but I would wake early (4-5am). So I just went into work early. It is a benzo. but I didn't have any problems stopping it. Just have to taper yourself off. Hope this helps, Rick

I am on a very similar treatment with Revlimid and Dex. I take 35 mg of dex every Sunday and then take .5 mg of Xanex on Sunday night. I sleep well, but tend to wake up about an hour earlier than normal. I only take the one Xanex pill per week. Paul

I was told it would cause sleepiness and to take it mine at supertime. However, one time I took it a little later and did some work around the house until approx. 9:00 p.m. went to bed at 10:00 and NEVER got to sleep. I was up the entire night. What really surprised me was that the next day I was not tired. Also, does your husband do any exercises in the morning? Any walking throughout the day? Anything that will get the blood pumping and create exertion? Take care;Kevin
