Very Late Stage 4. Does Tarceva Help or Hurt?

My father was diagnosed 6 months ago with NSCLC. He tried
platinum and an experimental drug to no avail. He is now
going to a hospice, and his oncologist is recommending
Tarceva as he cannot take any other chemos because he is too
weak. Does anyone have any experience with this drug in
stage 4? I know everyone reacts differently, but some ideas
might help at least. Thanks everyone.

Thanks, Nancy. My father has already lost a lot of weight, we
will have to see if he can physically take the medication. But
thank you again. - David
