Hi again from Annie

Hi all. We have had a fairly even ride last 10 months. No chemo. or radiation since then. His doctor watches the tumor marker and our last PET scan 1-4-08 showed all disease has quieted down but he had one new lymph node positive. A friend of ours just lost his Son 1 week ago to EC and he was diagnosed one week before my husband. My husband could not have the surgery and this fellow did. I just don't know which way is best. Annie

Hi Annie, I don't know which way is best either. I am glad that in my mom's case it was out of our hands and the Dr made the decision for us. I believe in my heart my mother could not survive such a surgery and the Dr must have thought the same thing. It has been a year since she started her chemo and radiation and she is still cancer free as far as we know. Next CT is in March and I will be holding my breath again. I will pray for you and your husband. Keep us posted. Pat
