Do these symptoms sound familiar?

Hello All- I am new to this website not because I was
diagnosed with cancer but because I think I have it. Mind you I never
thought this would happen to me but I finally had to give into my
symptoms and really think about what was going on with me. If any of you can relate to the symptoms I am having please let me know. It
all started about two years ago when I was diagnosed with HPV. I didn't
even know that I had it. I had no signs or symptoms of it but after my
annual pap I recieved a letter in the mail regarding my results. I went
ahead and did som research as to what it was and found that was a
likely prescursor to cervical cancer. So like almost
everyone would do I made regular 6 month apointments from there on out.
The following two papsmears came out perfect. My doctor said i had
cleared the virus and had no strains of HPV in my pap test. I was happy
and thought that was the end of it. Soon after
recieving those results I started having really painful intercoruse
with my bf. It was not normal at all. I had to completly stop. I was
spotting every now and then but I looked at it as normal because I was
never a person who had normal periods. i would sometimes go 5 months
without getting one. Little by little I started spotting more
and getting my periods almost every month. I thought this was just my
bodies way of starting anew and getting into a routine cycle. Since
the painful sex had gone away I started to have intercourse again...
only to be back in that painful state again! I would bleed after
it as well and it never felt good. Now my periods
have become an almost constant bleed and when I am not I am spotting
and usually everytime I go to the bathroom I seem to have this brownish
-gritty stuff that comes out (like dried blood). I think because I have
been loosing so much blood is why I am so tired lately. I get more than
enough sleep but still feel exhausted all the time.Has anyone else experienced these symptoms. Your replies would really help me. Thank you!Christa

The only thing you can do is go to your doctor and find out. Don't speculate, don't search the internet for random signs and symptoms, you'll only freak yourself out unnecessarily. Most of the time there are no symptoms at all, of HPV or cancer. I knew I had HPV and had a pap four months prior, but when I went back, lo and behold, I had cancer with no symptoms. Just make an appointment with your gyno.
