I have been on Tarceva for the past 2 years due to my having Non Small Cell Lung Ca. I have had whole head radiation due to the cancer metastasizing to my brain and I have gone through chemo to rid the cancer, which started in my lung in 2002 and metastasized throughout my trachea, spine, collarbone and brain in 2005.I am very nervous about the radiation...I'm reading horror stories about the healing process. What tips can you suggest? I bought aloe vera (no alcohol) and aquaphor...I don't know when I should be using those products, everyone talks about aloe vera.I would like tips on how to make myself more comfortable going through the radiation and how to take care of the burned areas after radiation, how to sleep, how to bathe...help.Thanks, Ricki  Ricki1222 Fri, 08 Feb 2008 00:00:00 GMT Hello Ricki  You should not worry as you went with the worst one i think all ready (Head). I had 33 days of Radiation in 01---small cell lung----then 35 days in 03---throat small cell  then they op on throat to get a clean line--- in 07 ---25 days radiation each cancer is the same but each is one that started by its self i also have copd and on oxygen my husband just died last year just before this last cancer .Some use the AloeVera i didn't   my ears peal a little in the path that radiation took toes are numb-1/2  salivary gland &1lobe of thyroid gone.Hang in thereYou  will do fine.If i can you can.Yvonne perrytom Sat, 03 May 2008 00:00:00 GMT
