Vomiting/Whistling, hissing sound when lying down

Hi All, I am wondering if there is anyone out there who has had violent vomiting with MM, (excluding side effects from chemo). When my husband was first sick, he had two early episodes of vomiting a week apart (both times on a Monday am) in March of 2007. And then none until about 3 weeks ago when he again had violent vomiting again two weeks apart, both times on a Sunday afternoon. He is had no kind of treatment with Oncologist, we are waiting on a 2nd opinion with a MM specialist. He also has a hissing/wheezing ending with a crackling sound that is coming out of his mouth at night when he lays down. Weird! I can hear it. This went away for a short time after starting some supplements, but came back after a month. He also had a very persistent cough as well as severe pain in the right rib, both also went away after starting supplements. There is still a bit of deep pain off and on in the rib, but something seems to be healing or just totally erroded away???I do believe it has to do with the cancer as it all came along with it and nothing else has shown up. We had gone to a pulmonary specialists and had tests done and nothing showed up. Doctors don't seem to want to deal with this or figure out what the problem is and Onc. Doesn't think it has anything to do with the MM. Anyone had any of these issues?GibbyCare giver of my beloved husband (53yrs old)Plasmacytoma Dx October 07MM Diagnosis: December 07IgG Kappa MM Stage 1IgG -1817 Beta B2-2.21.
