She has beautiful long thick hair and is worried that she will lose it when she starts chemo. I know that not everyone loses their hair but I wonder whether this will be true for her? Will she lose it or will it thin out or will she be ok? Smort9256 Sun, 10 Feb 2008 00:00:00 GMT I'm sure you know that ovarian cancer is very serious and must be treated aggressively.  I'm afraid hair loss (not just thinning) is a common side effect of the strong platinum drugs.
