Leg Pains

My name is Sherri and I was diagnosed with stage 3 follicular
lymphoma. I had 6 months of chemotheraphy and finished my
last one on March 22 of this year. I am in remission now.
Lately I have been feeling alot of leg pains and even the
bottoms of my heels hurt sometimes. Sitting and laying are
okay but when I get up, it hurts to take those first few steps.
This feeling never goes away. Does anyone else feel the same
way? It nags me all day that maybe something else is wrong. I
have talked to my oncologists and he seems to thing it might
be lasting effects from chemo. But how long will it last? Can
anyone ease my mind?

Leg Pians

HI Leg pains are very common and may be as a result of the chemo or follicular lymphoma ,possibly inflamed achilles tendon and I too have this problem .Physio to soft tissues I've found useful and maybe cooling gel or gel pads which have been in the freezer to cool down inflamed tendons
For info there is a Phase 3 trial called My-Vax ongoing in the States which uses own lymphoma cells specifically for follicular lymphoma
Viz active immunotherapy compared with Rituxan passive immunotherapy. You have not indicated type of chemo you've been taking but I hope it's beneficial and that you are now feeling much better
Stay positive Best wishes Mike D.
