Numbness on the leg as side effect of cysplatin?

My husband has gone through 4 cycles of chemotheraphy, the last one was combined with 5FU. Now he feels tingling and numbness in his right leg. His Oncologist is quite concerned because usually both legs should feel the same way. Any thoughts?

I am not sure about role of cisplatin, but I get tingling and numbness in one leg, and I've never had chemo of any kind. In my case, it's a pinched nerve. As soon as I take care of that (with the help of a chiropractor), it goes away. Maybe this is like mine; dependent on posture not chemo.
