KristaJ Tue, 12 Feb 2008 00:00:00 GMT Hi,  I just saw your post,and since no one has answered I will try to give you as much info as I can.  I'm currently on Topo for my second recurrence of OVCA.  I have it given 1 time a week for 3 weeks then I'm off the fourth week.  This is a new way to have this chemo..it is usually 5 straight days,every three weeks.  My Onc said with the way I have it I'm actually getting more of the chemo,plus there has been recent testing that it is just as good as the 5 day route. That being said.  I have had very little side effects so far.  I just started my 1st treatment in my 3rd round.  My ca-125 has now dropped into the normal range. I have had some nausea,headaches and dizziness..all of it treatable with tylenol or compazine.  I have a friend who is also on the 5 straight day of Topo,and her side effects are severe..to the point where they have stopped all treatment.  Good luck!!  I hope this chemo will put you back into remission...~~~Joanne Jlock Thu, 28 Feb 2008 00:00:00 GMT
