Avastin/CPT-11

Hey,My husband had a GBM removed in 2006 and underwent radiation therapy and Chemo (Temodar). He was onto his last cycle this past month, when his neurooncologist found a suspicion of 2 new small regrowths. He mentioned the Avastin/CPT-11 as a treatment if they were infact tumors. I've heard nothing but great results with this treatment and wanted to hear more from people who have experienced it personally or know someone who has. He is only 28 years old and we have beat it this far and will continue the battle!!

One last thing, before you take the Avastin/CPT-11 make sure with your Doctor(s) about insurance covering the meds. tybird
