torisel & diarrhea

My mom will be having her third torisel in two days. Has been experiencing

diarrhea, headache, mouth sores, and fatigue. How is everyone one else doing
on this drug as of side effects and results?

What is used to treat diarrhea?

Thanks,

Cathy

Is your mom in a study? What is the dose? Three treatments in two days? The side effects vary as to type and intensity, but the oncologist should know how to treat them. What is the oncologist recommending?T

Update with mom: Her diarrhea has been taken care by an injection of octreotide and does not need loperamide intake so far (but has it at home just in case).-Cathy
