      <description>hey everyone my name is michael im 17 and im doing some research on ec ok i havent really checked into this till now and i have had &amp;nbsp;these symptoms since i was like 5 or so when i eat it feels like the food gets stuck in my throat or something and then i start to hiccup and eventually it goes down but it hurts i get constant heartburn like right now as i type but does anyone think this is ec or is it just me? thanks </description>

      <description>Michael-Have you ever seen a Dr. for it? There are conditions where the esophagus narrows, and in fact one particular type narrowing is congenital so you can be born with it. There are also a lot of muscles involved in swallowing so it could be a muscular disorder.&amp;nbsp;There are many conditions which are abnormal but not cancer. Something like that is probably much more likely than EC, but obviously a medical dr would be the one to make that kind of call. Good luck with it all. Hopefully it will be easy to figure out, without getting too invasive.</description>
