CancerCompass message board discussion started by LuvMyDad07 on 2/15/2008 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,20973,0.htm Fri, 05 Dec 2008 00:00:00 GMT Fri, 05 Dec 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ Dad has bone mets, completes second week of radiation today, and second week of sutent 50mg this past Friday.  Has been on morphine 30mg 2x daily (since he started the radiation since his pain got unbearable), and steroid for inflammation.    He has had NON STOP hiccups and now is finding it hard to eat.   Hasn't slept in 6 days.  He didn't take his normal dose of morphine last night to test the pain and c if its contributing to the hiccups- says pain was ok.   Doc said he could try and stop the morphine totally, bump up the Percosett back to every 6 hours.. and give him Thorazine for the hiccups..   If you have had these hiccups and have taken Thorazine, please let me know what we should expect...
