RE: lymph nodes

Hello:First off, it could be anything. Right now keep positive thoughs (not easy). My Dad, had a persistent cough, night sweats, weight loss, and swollen lymph nodes on the left side of his neck. He was first diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma November 2006. It recently returned in January 2008. He is on Chemo. Only time will tell.

RE: lymph nodes

I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in February of 2007. My symptoms were: a rash that covered almost my entire body, *they say it is part of the Hodgkin, but of course doesn't happen to everyone.* swollen lymphnodes- I discovered mine back in 2006 when i was about 5 months pregnant. It started with one on the right side, and then about a month later I found one about the same size on the left side of my neck. I was on a steroid for basically my entire pregnancy. it turned out that the steroid helped to suppress the pain that i would typically be feeling. You do you hurt at all??? Once they took me off of the steroid my entire neck swelled up, it felt as if I had pulled every muscle in my neck. i could hardly even move it.Night Sweats- I didn't get the night sweats until i was taken off of the steroid, but let me tell you what, I would wake up completely soaked, the bed would actually be wet. I never got them if I took a nap during the day, just at night when i was attempting to sleep all night.weak/ tiredness- I was a new mom, just had my daughter about 6 weeks before i was diagnosed, so i thought what i was feeling was normal. I now know differently. I wish you the best of luck with your biopsy! If they are just taking it from your neck you won't be in much pain at all!!!! I will be sure to keep you in my thoughts and prayers, and be sure to let us know your results!! i hope I helped you a little!!!have a wonderful day!!!God Bless!-Hillary-
