Worried

I am concerned that my husband might have pancreatic cancer. His dad died from it and he has not been feeling well on and off for 4-5 weeks. He had a "stomach flu" for a solid week ... and then been okay for a week ot 2 now has a "head cold" ... an odd cough (not flemmy sounding) and feels terrible. He will not go to the doctor. Any suggestions.

PC wouldn't be the first thing to come to my mind. Probably just the flu which can easily last a week or 10 days with nagging cough going a lot longer. If he were losing weight, jaundiced, or had a strange unexplained back or abdominal pain, loss of energy, etc, then I'd be concerned. Not saying blow it off just that it sounds no more like pc than any other disease.

That is always the best course. Please make sure he tells the doc his history and push for some testing.
