CancerCompass message board discussion started by scott403 on 2/23/2008 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,21254,0.htm Wed, 08 Oct 2008 00:00:00 GMT Wed, 08 Oct 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ Hi I found this web site and message board while doing a bit of research on Aldara 5% cream that my doctor just prescribe for a basil cell cancer on the top of my head.  I had this removed with liquid nitrogen about 4 months ago and it has returned. The Dr. said to try this and prescribed the same application as most of the patients in the blog have, 3-4 times per week. for about 12 weeks. Uopn my wifes urging, I thought I would research the side affects of the medication, which I might add sound very severe. I have had cold sores all my life and have never enjoyed a single one, and who likes the flu!  My Dr. did not tell me of these side affect but did warn me of the  high price.
