what to ask doctor

My dad was re-diagnosed with kidney cancer in Nov. 07' with mets to the brain (very small tumors), adrenal gland, and spine. Since then, he has had radiation to contain the tumors in the brain and spine and is in process of completing cycle 2 of sutent. Now, his docs are planning to do followup CTs/MRIs to see the status of the cancer. We will be meeting with the doctors in 2 weeks to go over the results of the followup CTs/MRIs. So, I wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions on what type of questions we should be asking the docs at that time outside of the obvious (i.e. are the tumors contained/shrunk?). Any advise would be helpful. Thanks.

You can ask the hospital or lab, where your father is scanned, for a copy of the scan report. Good luck - Al
