Ablation RFA Pancreas Cancer stage 4 IV

My father has stage 4 PC with mets to the liver (2 small spots). He was diagnosed in October 2007. After 8 treatments of gemzar the chemo seems to be loosing its punch. Our doctor is going to use RFA to "cook" the two spots in the liver followed by radiation and chemo directed at the pancreas. Does anyone have an experience or thought about this procedure? Our Dr says he rarely goes this route. Any thoughts would be welcomed and thanks - good luck to everyone involved with this terrible disease.

fight it with everything you've gotas long as the tumor is accessible by rfa then you have a good shot in ablating those tumors
