my husband has been on torisel since oct 31 the only symptom he has experienced is a pustule rash that really looks bad but other than pain around the finger nails he doesnt notice it. the infectious disease drs has us using lotrimin on these areas and it really helps so i guess they are yeast. in dec. on ct scan there was no new progression possibly some shrinkage. he didnt do well on nexavar or sutent. good luck....

i forgot to add he does have hyperglycemia and is on a sliding scale of insulin , and lipitor for elevated cholestrol, but if the drug works he will just keep taking the meds for the problems, its the good outweighing the bad.

I have been on Torisel for 12 weeks. The most serious side effect that I have experienced is fatigue induced by anemia. It is being controlled by fortnightly shots to increae production of red blood cells and daily iron pills. Early on I experienced severe acne on my nose, scalp and back. This is being controlled by antibiotics.
