No peristasis of the esophagus

Hello, my mom seems to be having a problem with her esophagus. The doctors say she has zero peristasis ( mobility) and thats why when she eats the food and liquid stick in the chest. She throws up a foam like substance but not all the time. She had her stomach completely removed 6 months ago because of bleeding polyps and the doctors are saying this esophagus issue has nothing to do with that. They are saying she will need to go on a feeding tube and might have to be on one the rest of her life. If anyone has had or knows of somone in a similar position please let me know. Thanks. Jenn
