CancerCompass message board discussion started by Debra1231 on 2/28/2008 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,21464,0.htm Fri, 29 Aug 2008 00:00:00 GMT Fri, 29 Aug 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ Hello Everyone,My mom has RCC since Feb 06 that has spread...Long story short it spread to lung, lymph, rib, and adrenal gland.  Neadless to say she is on lots of meds.  Everything has been stable now for 5 months while on RAD001.  My question is that ONLY a few nights a week she is totally out of it.  She looses her bladder, she gets the shakes, she is confused and dazzed and she can hardly put any words together, and her right arm goes into spasms.  I make sure she is comfortable and she has a good nights sleep and in the morning she is like a different women.  When I tell her she is acting like this she does not remember.  Is there something going on in her head, or is it just side effets of the meds.
