They are both extremely happy with my progress, so I'm happy too. I was on the bad side of 60/40 odds, with SCC, stage IVa, left tonsil primary. I responded so well to treatment that they decided to pass on the neck dissection that they told me I would probably need. No argument there! I would like to thank everyone here for the advice and support I have received since I found this place. My med oncologist is with HHH Cancer Center (and saw me thru the Fairview system)  & my ENT oncology surgeon is with Paparella ENT-he's also a Chief of Staff at the MN VA. I had radiation at Mercy Radiology, Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids, under Dr. Dixon. I also thought I had wonderful, empathetic Dr's and all their staff. They told me I had a wonderful response!
