      <description>A doctor at Johns Hopkins recommemded &amp;quot;second look&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; surgery to me. &amp;nbsp;I finished standard&amp;nbsp; chemo six treatments in July 2007.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I&amp;#39;ve heard this was standard treatment twenty years ago and even some younger doctors still perform it.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;#39;d lke to hear from patients who&amp;#39;ve undergone&amp;nbsp; a second look.&amp;nbsp;I currently have no speific area to debulk, but was suboptimal after the initial o.c. surgery.</description>

      <description>My mother has stage 4 ovarian cancer with growing tumors. Debulkinghas not been considered due to risks involving veins/arteries beingintertwined with her 5 + tumors. I was horrified that they wouldn&amp;#39;tjust cut the tumors out- some as large as 15-18 cm, but the doc saysits out of the question.Good luck with your treatment.&amp;nbsp;Sue&amp;nbsp;</description>
