stage 4

I am new to this group but from the day my husband was diagnosed, we have been looking for someone with the "same" cancer history-specifically that his had spread to the lymph glands before it was diagnosed. That was a year ago-. He had such pain down his leg-the sciatic nerve was being pinched by the swelling of the lymph glands.Has anyone in this group had the PC spread to the lymph glands? I would likg group or individual answers. Thanks God bless you allhiswayc

My father recently had a ct scan that shows cancer in the lymph nodes. My father was diagnosed 1 year ago with pc with mets to liver. This is the first time we are aware it is in the nodes and the doctor is also saying it is in his bones in the back ( I assuming he meant spine?). We will talk about the scans on Monday in more detail.

Dear Group,For some reason the notices about replies did not get into my regular mail-box even tho other cancer compass messages did. i just found these by "accident" while trying to change some "options".My husband goes back Wed the 19th for blood work and sees the dr the26 to see if the TM has stayed down.So far the cancer has only spread to the lymph glands and that was before diagnosis. My prayers are with you, as caregivers it is a different type of stress.God bless you.Jan

My father has had the cancer in the lymph glands but not the the liver or kidneys. They removed his pancreas, duodenum and spleen. It has also been located in the lymph glands in the neck. He has a mucasy cancer that is rare and I am looking for the same answer!
