Sutent is WORKING!

Hi all - My mom has been on Sutent for 3 cycles now and just had a cat scan. Her results revealed that the tumors in her lungs have significantly reduced in size and some has disappeared, her liver tumors have almost all disappeared and the one on her pancreas is unchanged right now. She is continuing another three cycles of 2 weeks on and 1 week off. Sutent does work and the side effects are tolerable. - Melissa

Hi Melissa,Thats so wonderful to know. My father has his right kidney removed due to RCC. Now doctors are suggesting to take Stutent (25mg) each day for atleast a month. We are all anxious about the outcome- we thought radiotherapy should have been better. Could you please share the experience that your mom underwent after taking this drug, side effects etc. Also the dosage amount if you remember. Thanks so much. Eagerly wating for the response as he needs to start this soon.~Good BlessAbhijit
