Unfortunately, Stage IV bile duct usually can't be resected. Dr. Canady has a reputation of doing surgeries even when others won't, but its important to find out how long those patients lived after the surgery. My sister also has Stage IV klatskins and the only silver lining to this otherwise grey grey cloud is that it is a slower growing tumor and that does give more time. Good luck and here's hoping to hear good things only.
