RE: Recto anal canal with liver metastasis

Hi: Having been a care-giver for my wife, who has the same type of cancer as yours, for 14 mobths now, I feel I know a little. First of all you are seeking info at the right place. CTCA, I feel, is the leading source of info, treatment, knowlege, and success over cancer of anywhere. We've been going there (1 of 5 locations) for 14 months and feel very lucky to have found them.My wife was given only a short time to live when diagnosed. Luckily, we went to CTCA first, started receiving tretament (chemo), then radiation, and after only 14 months, may be curedAr least get a 2nd opinion from CTCA (no cost to you), then make up your mind about who should be treating you. Of 10 lesions on her liver, it is now clear and has been for 8 mos. The tumor has almost disappeared and should be gone soon. The most important thing is to have complete confidence in your treatment team. She has 7 specialists at CTCA. We've never doubted their judgement and everything has happened exactly as they have predicted. As they say, cancer is not to be feared - it is to be fought. It is not incurable. With the right team, and the willingness to do what has to be done, you will be cured.Good luck and God Bless,Dave - A cancer fighter friend
