Maltipal foci, to many to articulate

What does that mean? My mom has bone cancer and this is what the Dr. told us. They have started Rad. on T1 because of the pain and tingles in her fingers. She also had pain in her left hip, the Dr. only decided to start Rad. for this a week later because I asked. Now she has about 10 treatments left and he is talking about Taxol/Carboplatin Chemo treatments. I now know what Maltipal foci means, but how long will she be able to make it?
