1 year post treatment update

Hi Everybody, I use to post all time on this site. Lately I just haven't been able to keep up with everybody. It seems like there are so many new people here and I have had my hands full with my mama. I try to check the board and I always pray for everybody here I just haven't had time to write much. My Mama had stage 3TN1M0 EC. She could not have surgery because of bad lungs so she had 5 1/2 weeks of chemo (cisplatin & 5FU) and radiation that finished 1 year ago. I am happy to report that she just had a CT done and it shows NO CANCER !. I wanted to post this to give others hope. My mama really isn't doing that great overall because of advanced COPD. She just got out of the hospital yesterday after being in there for a week. I am hopeful she will regain some strength. But I really feel she is a miracle and I want that for each and every one of you. To Georgesgirl : Great news about the lungs. Your Dad is going to be a miracle too ! I am praying for you. Pat

Hi-I've been watching your posts about your Mom's COPD, which is sad since she's doing well EC wise but is having other problems. I know I've mentioned tongren in the past, usually for cancer since that's why we're here, but we treat many conditions and COPD is one of them. I hate to push it if people aren't interested......but I have seen people come into class with COPD and pink right up while we tap on them. It is obvious they are getting more oxygen as a result of it. Also have a man with Non-Hodgkins in class who wears his blood oxygen monitor on his finger, and his blood oxygen goes up when we work on him, and he says it stays up about half the week before dropping back down. His oncologists can't figure out why the Non-Hodgkins shrank so dramatically, so quickly, and why he is actually regenerating some type of tissue (very rare). They do phone conference calls for cancer specifically as well as mixed groups (all kinds of illnesses). All you need to do is call at time of scheduled call and give name and condition and sit to receive energy with palms open and facing up. Yes, it's very weird. And yes, we left the oncologist scratching her head again last week, because we are not textbook, this should not have quieted back down after rearing it's head after surgery at Christmas, and she just can't figure out why. She told us to do something fun and get off the roller coaster we have been on the past few months. We will keep appointment for what was the next scheduled scan next month, before the foul ups on his last set of tests, and keep a good eye on him. The stress of tests always takes it toll of course. Good luck with your Mom. If you deceide she might be open to call let me know, and I can send you info.

I am open to anything that might help Mama. I will talk to her and see if she is interested. She is still very weak and can't really do anything except lay around most of the day. Thanks for the info. Pat

If you look at tomtam.com and click on guinea pig pamphlet. there is some info on it. The conference calls work the same as the class, and she would be fine if she is more comfortable lying down instead of sitting. If you's prefer to email me privately, I could email back with pamphlet as attachment if it's easier for you. Have a great day!
