primary peritoneal cancer recurrence

I was diagnosed with ppc stage 3 in january 2005- after surgery and chemo...i was in remission for 2 1/2 years. After months of sickness (headaches, nausea, loss of balance) and being treated for sinus and ear infection....the doctor finally sent me for an mri of the brain on october 11,2007. I ended up in the emergency room and the following day and had emergency brain surgery to remove a tumor from my cerebellum. The surgeon said that if i had waited one more day, i wouldn't be here. I had 20 sessions of whole brain radiation...to date, i'm still extremely fatigued and have lost 15 pounds. I also lost most of the hearing in my right ear, and had a tube inserted to correct this problem. From what i've read about distant recurrence...my chances are not good...any comments or feedback on this?I'm writing to make women aware of why a ca-125 can start to rise. My original cancer metastisized to the brain..it took months for this tumor to grow.Has anyone else experienced this type of reaccurence?
