      <title>sores on tongue</title>
<description>Hi&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I found a sore on the side of my tongue. Is their anything I could but on it to clear it up? It&amp;#39;s hard to eat with it there.I&amp;#39;ve been brushing my teeth with baking soda three times a day. Would that of caused it? Please help me. Thank you1 &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Rose </description>

      <title>RE: sores on tongue</title>
<description>&amp;nbsp;Rose,Many of the chemo drugs can cause mouth sores.&amp;nbsp; In my case Erbitux was the drug and it makes your mouth a mess. :)&amp;nbsp; What they prescribed for me is what they call &amp;quot;Magic Mouthwash&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; yes that is the name on the prescription. :)&amp;nbsp; It is a combination of drugs that you take a tablespoon swish it around in your mouth for a minute and then swallow it.&amp;nbsp; Yummmy, I mean yuck. :) It has benedryl in it, pregnazone (spelling) and some other drugs.) my instructions were 4 times a day after each meal and don&amp;#39;t eat for an hour after using it.&amp;nbsp; Not sure you have the same situation but I certainly share your pain in trying to eat with a sore mouth. Takes the fun right out of food. :) &amp;nbsp;Hopefully it will go away soon. &amp;nbsp; Take care and God Bless YouOn 3/12/2008 HORSE1 wrote:Hi&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I found a sore on the side of my tongue.
