I pray for peace and no pain for your husband as he battles this awful disease. I pray for peace and understanding for you as you struggle to help him through it. I pray God's will is done in His timing and that you and your husband have enough quality time together to enjoy each other a little longer.

God Bless you dear and your precious husband. Hang in there. Prayer and praying people can do so much more than we know. My husband has esophageal cancer which is also a brutal one and has been in and out of the hospital and sick also. this has been a good week for him and we go to the oncologist surgeon this Wed. to see if his CAT scan came back making him a viable patient for the huge surgery. I don't look forward to what he will have to go through with the surgery but am behind him all the way if that is the way he wants to do it. Isn't this cancer the most awful beast? Praying for you and all the others suffering on this site. Both the patients and the caregivers.

Dear Lilly. In your case - when you have tried all traditional treatments - I would look at some experimental treatments like as an example immunotherapy. I know it may be a long shot and that at this moment the evidence of the effect of such treatments may not be good - but there are reports that some new treatments actually do work. If you and your husband have the strength to keep fighting you could try to look at immunotherapy using a drug called Gendicine. Good results from this is being reported (and now starting to be documented) in China. My mother in law had surgery for Klatskins tumor in beginning of February. Unfortunately her cancer had spread to lymph nodes. She will now receive chemotherapy. But if this doesn't work - and if she still has strength to keep fighting - I think we will - when all other options are gone - look at immunotherapy and Gendicine. I wish you and your husband all the best.BrKenneth from Denmark
