      <title>a little concerned in ohio</title>
      <description>i had a ct scan for a lung nodule which revealed lesions on my liver...mri followed one week later....they scheduled a PET scan a week after that which could not be done as i am a diabetic and my sugar is uncontrolled even with insulin....my doctor did suggest cancer....what other options are there if PET scan can not be done...</description>

      <description>they can review the blood work and see if the CEA is elevated...it measures some cancers....if you are not at the james in columbus, get there. dr. ahmed ghany has saved my dad&amp;#39;s life and is amazing. in addition, dr. david geller performed a surgery for my dad that many thought were not possible. he is at the university of pittsburgh medical center. we had gone to his colleague dr. luketich for a biopsy on the lung spots that my dad got. These men are all fabulous and would be able to give you more advice. if you search for dr. geller at upmc you&amp;#39;ll see his email...if you email him, he will email you back. he&amp;#39;s a great person as well as an awesome doc.</description>
