      <description>my dad just found out he has b lymphoma they found the cancer in his stomache hes very depressed losing weight and not eating good and still gets pains in his stomache.he starts cemo next week i dont know what stage hes in cause thats all my mom told me can anyone please tell me what b stands for iam really woried about my dad and iam also confused</description>

      <description>&amp;nbsp;On 3/20/2008 marypo wrote:my dad just found out he has b lymphoma they found the cancer in his stomache hes very depressed losing weight and not eating good and still gets pains in his stomache.he starts cemo next week i dont know what stage hes in cause thats all my mom told me can anyone please tell me what b stands for iam really woried about my dad and iam also confused&amp;nbsp;I have B-Cell Lymphoma and was diagnosed in July 1998.&amp;nbsp; It is one of the best controlled Cancers there is.&amp;nbsp; The reason is that it grows slowly.&amp;nbsp; I was in remission for 5 yrs and I relapsed the end of 2003.&amp;nbsp; I am in remission again and will be 2 yrs this June.&amp;nbsp; There are usually 4 stages and mine was between 3rd and 4 th stage.&amp;nbsp; Mine was not in my stomach, however, I do have a friend that had it in her stomach and she took treatment as has been in remission 6 yrs now and is doing fine.&amp;nbsp; It usually is not curable, but it is treatable.&amp;nbsp; How old is your Dad?&amp;nbsp; I was 55 when I was diagnosed.&amp;nbsp; It&amp;#39;s the pit to go thru, but at least there is treatment and it&amp;#39;s much better now that when I was first diagnosed.&amp;nbsp; Write me if you like.&amp;nbsp; Justine</description>

      <description>&amp;nbsp;thank you very much you helped out alot i have been very worried about my dad for weeks know. my dad is 65 years old and has never been sick like this only the normal stuff like colds and sinusis.iam glad to hear your friend is doing well.</description>

      <description>It could be B-Cell Lymphoma. It is very treatable and curable. You need to talk to your mom and ask her to explain the complete diagnosis on your dad. Just hearing that a loved one has CANCER, scares all of us. Good luck!</description>
