I have been having chemo every 3 weeks for liver cancer and taking Xeloda. the scan I had Jan 4th it measured 5.1 cm the scan I had a few weeks ago measured 6.8cm. the doctor did a liver biopsy because he thought the way that it was growing it might be a primary cancer. But the test showed it had come from my stomach cancer from 2006. So we are about to start chemo again come Monday. My daughter is reading a lot about nutrition and cancer. The books seem to make a lot of sense, has anyone tried to stay more on vegetables and fruits, fish and leave out the sugars and salts? At this point anything is worth a try.I am scared, I wonder how big the tumor gets before we are beyond no return to help shrink it and give me a little more time. My daughter graduates from Physical Therapy school next May. And my son and his wife are talking about having a baby. I just want another year and a half or 2 years. Don't know if I can make that or not.
