stopping all treatment

Hi Everyone, It has been 18 months since I was diagnosoed with stage IV and mets to my spleen. I had everything last year, cistplatin, radio more chemo and all the time the tumour has been growing and now I have liver mets as well. I have been in dreadful pain, My doctor gave me morphine at the begining of Feb and the Oncologist started me on Tarceva and gave me even more morphine. After 2 weeks I was so ill that I don't remember much at all. My wife and son stopped all the medication including the morphine and started me on the Budwig diet. I am still taking 5 tablespoons full of the oil everyday mixed with cottage cheese and banana and milk now (it was champagne to start with!) I am slowly recovering, it has taken 2 weeks to be able to think straight and although I still can't swallow very well my wife is managing to get more than 1500 calories in me every day.I will be arranging a scan as soon as I can go out again, I feel reborn and a bit weak and wobbly but I am here!!Phil
