do you mean the juice of a fruit - as in you juiced it yourself or processed fruit juice? Because i would say no to any store-bought juice. I don't give my husband any fruit juices - i do give him lots of vegetable juices, particularly carrot/celery/beetroot. I also give him apple not apple juice as apples lose some of their fibre when juiced. All produce i use is organic.

I have pancreatic adenocarcinoma and for the majority of my adult life was misdx'd as being diabetic (non-diabetic after Whipple, which is just the opposite of most) so I stayed away from any sugars/sweets, etc for quite some years and still developed cancer. Although it's always better to maintain a healthy diet, unless there are some diabetic issues or food processing issues, sugars from fruits should not be a major concern. My prayers are with your family.

I have non small cell carcinoma_lung and I juice my own fruit. Natural sugar and refined sugar are two different sugars. I like to look at it like this. Cancer cells LOVE sugar and can't tell the difference between natural sugar found in fruit and refined sugar which is the bad sugar. When I juice my own fruit juice the natural sugar fakes out the cancer cells and all the nutrients and cancer fighting properties get into the cancer cell because the cancer has gobbled them up. When you juice your own fruit you juice seeds, stems all of it and the nutrients in the seeds and stems are powerful. Laetril is a well know cancer fighter and it is found in apple seeds. Apricot seeds too but don't put an apricot seed into you juicer. Just break open the shell and eat the seed from an apricot. You can buy apricot seeds already shelled at vitamin cottage.

My husband has pancreatic cancer with liver mets. We gave up all refined sugars but in my research on the topic naturally occurig sugars like those found in fruit are ok to have but you do need to watch the glycemic levels of foods. So printing out the glycemic index chart is helpful. We juice our own juices. You have to be a label reader. There are so many things that contain refined sugars it is crazy. You will be amazed. We switched to an organic diet and it is much easier to shop at a health food store and find sugar free foods in my experience. Most all processed commercial fruit juice has some sort of refined sugar in it that I have seen.A very helpful and imformative book on diet and nutrition is Beating Cancer With Nutrition by Patrick Quillin. It addresses the topic of sugar and cancer in depth. It has really been a big help to me and my husband.Keri H
