oral contraceptives after LEEP?

I posted this a while back but no one responded.I read somewhere that women on birth control (the pill) can develop cervicitis and since birth control changes the cells of the body, I am wondering if being on the pill after being diagnosed with LSIL or HPV or anything of these is really a good idea? Has anyone's doctor said anything to anyone about this??

Dr., all in Jax, FL.) told me it was still fine.
