CancerCompass message board discussion started by tsering on 3/28/2008 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,22430,0.htm Thu, 24 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT Thu, 24 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ my dad has been diagnosed from stomach cancer on sept 2007. so far gone through 7 cycle and doctor was suppose to do surgery on january 16 but they couldn't perform as they found some nodules along stomach lining and intestine side. they disect his stomach but couldb't perform stomach. he still going through chemotherapy and side effects are so bad that two days he couldn't even get out from his bed and couldn't eat anythingf..fever was there all the time. i am wondering if chemo helps for the 4th stage cancer. i asked about his life span and doctor told me that he could live upto 6-12 months. he doesn't want to have anymore chemo coz of all side effects..can anyone suggest what might be the best to do.thanking yopu so much.   tsering Fri, 28 Mar 2008 00:00:00 GMT
